A Sunday in Hell

Jorgan Leth’s 1977 documentary, ‘A Sunday in Hell’ is one of the best cycling documentaries of all time, and Stirchley Happenings will be screening it at Birmingham Bike Foundry this Thursday, 21st November from 7.30pm.

Eddy Merckx, Roger De Vlaeminck, Freddy Maertens, and Francesco Moser all feature in the annual Paris – Robaix bike race: dubbed ‘The Hell of the North’, due to it’s climax over dangerous cobbled rural roads.

We’ll also be screening the 1955 British Transport Films ‘Cyclists’ Special’, about a day trip out for some cyclists from London to the beautiful countryside of the Midlands.

Tickets are FREE, but please reserve through the link above (choose ‘Will Call’ tickets from the list). If you book tickets and then find that you can’t make the film, please let us know so we can reissue.
