Do you like the greatest comedy film of all time according to the American Film Institute? Do you like Stirchley Happenings? Do you like TASCOS? Do you like 8pm on Friday 27th May?
If the answer is yes, then please do pop along to the next showing in our Travelling Bug House series: Some Like It Hot, starring … well we guess you’ve already worked that one out … and showing at … again, you’ve probably cottoned on to that too. Tickets are priced at £3.50 if you pay full price and £2.50 for concessions (which is very cheap). The bar will be open too!
For those that do not know the film already, it is a total classic. Focusing on two struggling musicians (Curtis and Lemmon) who inadvertently encounter the St Valentine’s Day Massacre, the movie follows their journey as they try to escape from the mob and end up having to take hilarious and desperate measures in order to stay underground. Mix in a measure of Miss M Monroe, and you can’t go wrong.
If you do not believe us (although we’re sure you do ;-)), here is a little trailer to whet your appetite:
Hope to see you on Friday 27th! Stirchley Happenings.
