The Bug That Travels

Your Friday night starts (and possibly ends) here!

If you’re anything like us, you’ll be looking forward to copious amounts of free tea and cake this Friday 25th February at our Flicks, Infusions and Vintage Tunes night, part of our Travelling Bug House.

Taking place at the Inhabit pop-up art tea shop (on the corner of Ivy Road and Pershore Road, Stirchley), the night will be full of exciting archive footage from the local area, including the Bournville Village Trust/Cadbury commissioned film When We Build Again, and snippets from the MACE footage previously shown at our December screening of It’s A Wonderful Life.

Other motion picture highlights include work from local residents Lizz Lunney and Scott Johnston– a mix of creative documentaries and arty shorts. The soundtrack to the evening will reflect the visual romp, so listen out for our eclectic vintage vinyl sounds.

This informal night will run from 7pm – 10pm, so drop in and say hello on your way out for your Friday night antics – you may end up absorbed in tea drinking and cake eating madness for longer than anticipated …

Entry to the event is free, but due to limitations of space we will only be able to allow a maximum of 30 people in the room at any one time. Come along early to bag a seat!

This event has been made possible by Hybrid, and thanks go to 7inch Cinema, Kino 10 and Birmingham City Council for their support.
