Stirchley Market Full Of Beans (And Other Assorted Items)
Yesterday was a great day in the history of Stirchley Community Market. In fact, it was the first day in the history of Stirchley Community Market, and that made it a great day right from the last chime of the previous day’s midnight and the first squawk of a local siskin. But what made it even greater was the great turnout, great weather and general greatness of yesterday’s event.
We’re really proud to be part of the Market and equally happy to be able to provide a platform for some of the area’s best artist-maker-crafters. Our stall was replete with beautiful items from Roxie Collins, Lizz Lunney, Jess Mikhail, Ildiko Nagy, Genevieve Pearson, Carla Smith, Lucy Sobrero and Gosia Webber. It was lovely to meet so many people and we sold so much that we’re all now in a position to retire, but that won’t stop us from setting up stall again on Tuesday 24th August for the second Community Market – we do hope you come along!
We’ll be uploading a super selection of photos to our Flickr account in the near future, so please keep an eye on that too!
We were also really pleased to see so many people interested in our Film Screening questionnaire. So if you filled one in (or even if you didn’t) then visit our Travelling Bug-House Picture Show page for more information.
Best wishes from Stirchley Happenings.
