Full Circle
Stirchley Happenings are helping MACE (The Media Archive for Central England) to find videos for their Full Circle project. MACE are looking for residents’ home videos to show how the local area has changed and developed over time.
These films have the potential to open a unique window on the way we have lived our lives, and preserve the moving image heritage of the Midlands for future generations to enjoy and study.
MACE will digitise your footage, and provide a DVD copy of it and store it for you if you wish, meaning that the film itself is stored in archive conditions. The film will remain your property.
We then plan to show any interesting home footage at one of our Travelling Bug House film screenings in the near future.
So have a look around in your attics and garages, and if you have any old films in your home, email us on chrisstirchleyhappenings@gmail.com or call Chris on 07966660771.
