Harvey at TASCOS Social Club

Stirchley Happenings presents a FREE Travelling Bug House Film Screening to celebrate our 3rd Birthday, and to say thanks to everyone who has supported us by coming along to our events. The film will be showing at TASCOS Social Club, Hazelwell Lane, Stirchley, B30 2PR, on Saturday 25th August at 5pm (doors open at 4.30pm), and everyone is welcome.

‘Harvey’ stars James Stewart as Elwood P Dowd, a endlessly pleasant bachelor who spends most of his time hanging out with his best friend, a 6 foot 3.5-inch tall rabbit called Harvey. Unfortunately, only Elwood seems to be able to see Harvey, and this is causing his sister Veta Louise (Josephine Hull in Oscar-winning form) and her daughter a lot of social stress, with their friends driven away by the idea of making polite conversation with Elwood and some bunny they can’t even see. Driven to despair by the situation, the family have to decide between Elwood being Elwood, or a perfectly normal human being.
